Golden Paws is a puppy matching and support service serving families throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario. Since 2006, we have worked with verified breeders and helped families find Mini Cockapoo, Mini Goldendoodle, and Mini Poodle puppies that fit their home, schedule, and lifestyle.
Our role is to make the process clearer and more responsible. We help buyers understand the information available for each puppy, prepare for pickup, and begin life with their new companion with practical care guidance and ongoing support.
Our Role and Standards
- Verified breeder relationships: Golden Paws verifies the breeder’s identity and contact information, personally visits the breeder, reviews the conditions in which the puppies are kept, and checks the available veterinary examination, vaccination and deworming information, and the puppy’s documents.
- Clear health information: Buyers receive the records available for their puppy, which may include veterinary examinations, vaccinations, deworming, microchip information, and relevant information about the parents.
- Early care and socialization: We explain how the puppy has been cared for and what routines, household experiences, and handling it has received before joining its new family.
- Thoughtful puppy matching: A good match considers temperament, energy, expected adult size, grooming needs, household schedule, and family expectations—not colour or appearance alone.
- Support after pickup: We provide practical guidance to help families manage feeding, sleep, house training, grooming, veterinary care, and the puppy’s adjustment to a new home.
